Due to limited space at our location, LARGE EQUIPMENT (ie: Ride on Mowers, etc) REQUIRES A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT for Repairs & Service with our Service Department. PLEASE CALL 808-677-1071 to schedule an appointment for your large equipment.

Customers with Tru-Cut Reel Mowers: Due to the fact that the Tru-Cut Mower Company was sold in March of 2022, it has been very difficult to get mower parts from the new Company. For the past 2 years, they have not been able to produce replacement parts (for example: clutches, reels, bedknives, bearings, etc.) in a timely manner and with quality. It has been a constant challenge trying to get parts orders filled from them. We already have a long waitlist of customers with Tru-Cut Mowers wanting to come in for sharpening and repairs, but we can't get any parts still. We have Parts Orders as far back as December of 2023 that can't be filled. Tru-Cut Company management has informed us that they can't get the materials to produce parts at this time. 

We are sorry, but we are going to have to ask ALL Tru-Cut Customers, to please call us before bringing your equipment. Or we might be forced to turn you away for repairs, sharpening and service. At this point, WE WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU FOR ENGINE REPAIRS AND SERVICING ON TRU-CUT UNITS WITH HONDA AND BRIGGS AND STRATTON ENGINES. ANY WORK YOU MAY NEED OUTSIDE OF THE ENGINE, IF WE DON'T HAVE THE PARTS IN STOCK, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP YOU.

Customers with RedMax Power Equipment: Unfortunately, today, April 16, 2024, we received news that our Distributor for RedMax has closed their business operations abruptly for good. Therefore, this means, WE CANNOT GET REDMAX PARTS!!!!! We will try our best to supply you with whatever parts we may have in stock in our store. But this looks like it is the end for our dealership supporting the RedMax brand all together. We will try our best to guide you to a source to get any parts you may need via online sources, but it is very limited. Again, our apologies. As we had no warning or control over this event.


For ALL Repairs, Service and Sharpening, we REQUIRE a NON REFUNDABLE Diagnostic Fee Deposit upon dropping your equipment off for EACH unit you would like us to work on.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!!  If you decline to pay this Deposit, WE WILL NOT TAKE YOUR UNIT(S) IN.  WE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY FREE ESTIMATES! WE DO NOT DO WORK OR DIAGNOSING FOR FREE!!! TIME IS MONEY AND WE ARE A BUSINESS.  OUR EMPLOYEES NEED TO GET PAID. Once we give you an estimate, we expect a prompt answer for approval or denial. If you deny the work and estimate, you will forfeit your NON REFUNDABLE Diagnostic Deposit. If you decide to APPROVE the work, we will apply your Deposit towards your repair bill.

Waipahu Lawn Equipment is your source for dependable service & repair! We take pride in our ability to serve you, and stand behind our products with responsive repair services to get you up and running as quickly as possible when the unexpected happens. We also provide maintenance services to ensure your equipment runs smoothly all season long.


When looking for replacement and service parts, we have a large variety of stock on hand. To check if we have your part available, please have either the part number or the make, model and serial number for your unit ready. In some cases, the engine may be different from the brand of your equipment. Please have ready all the model, serial numbers, engine make, model, type, and code numbers if possible.

 

WE DO NOT CARRY PARTS FOR ALL STORE BOUGHT BRANDS! There is a big misconception that all engines and equipment can interchange parts and service components. That is not the case. We do not “MacGyver” or modify equipment or parts. Our parts department is organized by part number in over 1000 bins and locations. That is why we do need your application information or the actual part number. Most manufacturer websites offer an Illustrated Parts List (IPL) to help you retrieve this info. You can click on one of the following brands to look up your own parts:  Shindaiwa (Go to Tech Support/Parts Lookup), ECHO(Go to Support/Help Parts Catalogs), RedMax, Kawasaki, Bear Cat, Ybravo, Briggs & Stratton, McLane, and Wright Commerical Products.


We usually place parts orders weekly for most of our brands. If the part you need is a non stocking special order part, you will be required to prepay for the part and shipping charges before the part is ordered.   

 

When it comes to service and repairs, you can count on us! We service everything we sell. Our technicians are onsite and factory trained with the experience to repair both two and four cycle engines. Pick up and delivery service available in certain areas for a nominal charge.


Rotary and Reel Mower Sharpening (McLane and Tru-Cut) is also available.  We have a full time, inhouse sharpener.


In most cases, we do only work on brands we are an authorized dealer for.  If you have purchased your power equipment from a large chain store or another dealer, please check with us before bringing your equipment in.  WE MAY BE LIMITED OR UNABLE TO GET PARTS FOR YOUR UNIT.   Waipahu Lawn Equipment eliminates the frustration of you throwing away your hard earned money by only representing and supporting quality products.  Remember, good work is never cheap and cheap work is never good.
